Brownsville Bust: Coke Dealers In 'Outlaws' Crew Sold Multiple Kilos Per Month, Prosecutors Say

Five gang members who called themselves the "Outlaws" channeled cocaine, crack and heroine from Brownsville to Albany, prosecutors said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A group of Brooklyn gang members called the “Outlaws” were busted for a drug operation that channeled cocaine from Brownsville to upstate New York, according to prosecutors.

Five “Outlaws” arrested after a yearlong investigation found the gang had been buying cocaine and heroine in Brooklyn to sell in Albany, the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s office announced Wednesday.

Clive "Meech" Laroc, 31, and Terrell "Raw" Edwards, 33, supplied several kilos of cocaine — each kilo worth about $36,000 — to dealers who sold the drugs upstate on a monthly basis, according to prosecutors.

Laroc was first arrested in November for possession of a gun, $25,000 in cash, three ounces of cocaine and trying to escape arrest, said prosecutors, but was later released on bail.

Police nabbed Laroc in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday where he had a court appearance scheduled for the earlier arrest, said prosecutors.

Laroc was arraigned on charges that include conspiracy, criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest in Manhattan Supreme Court and his bail was set at $350,000, prosecutors said.

Edwards and three other “Outlaw” members — Owen Mark Watson, Burdette Marshall and Walter Porter — have also been arraigned on conspiracy charges, according to prosecutors.

Laroc's attorney Scott Celestin told Patch that his client stands by his innocence.

"He's looking forward to his day in court," Celestin said.
