The East Kings County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invites you to a powerful social action brunch themed Community In Action: Educate, Empower, Elevate. We will explore how we can actively advocate for our communities and participants will leave with action items to help move our collective work forward. Our discussion will focus on the advancement of key civil rights issues, including reparations, criminal legal system reform, and health equity.
Experience an insightful panel discussion and a keynote address by advocate Gweneth Carr, featuring Dr. Stella Safo, Anthonine Pierre, Tyrik Washington, and Rondo Bonilla.
