Canarsie Man Who Shot Two Men Charged With Murder, Police Say

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police have arrested a man they believe shot and killed one man and wounded another in Canarsie on Monday.

Paul Davis, 49, shot Akeem Booker, 28, and a 53-year-old man near Avenue N and Rockaway Parkway around 10:55 p.m. on May 1, police said.

Booker, who was shot in the torso, and the 53-year-old man, who was hit in his left hand and left thigh, were rushed to Brookdale Hospital where Booker was pronounced dead, said police.

Davis, of Canarsie, was arrested on Thursday and charged with murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, court records show.
