XBox Player Fights Off Armed Robbers Who Try To Snatch Console From Brooklyn Home: Police
The man successfully fought off two men who shoved their way into his home and tried to take his video game, police said.

EAST NEW YORK — A Brooklyn man successfully fought off two armed burglars who broke into his home and tried to steal his Xbox, police said.
The two thieves shoved their way into the 31-year-old's home on East New York Avenue around 11:20 p.m., May 16, said police.
The burglars — armed with a black handgun — demanded money from the victim and his 54-year-old father, but when they tried to take the Xbox video game system, the 31-year-old decided to fight back, said police.

When one burglar dropped the Xbox the other retaliated by pistol-whipping the 31-year-old — cutting open his hand — and stealing his Samsung Galaxy S6 cellphone, according to police.
The two men fled the apartment and the 31-year-old — whom had been protecting his father as well as a 62-year-old woman and 59-year-old man inside the apartment — was treated for his injuries at home, said police.

Surveillance cameras captured video and pictures of the two suspects.
Police describe the armed man as a 27-year-old man standing five-foot-eight, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt, camouflage shorts and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a 17-year-old man standing at six feet, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a blue baseball cap with a red rim, a black hoodie, jeans and black sneakers.
