Grandma Punches Other Grandma In The Head, Police Say

Grandmother Anne-Marie Thompson-Jacob punched her grandson's other grandmother in the head when their argument turned violent, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn grandmother has been charged with punching her grandson’s other grandmother in the head, according to police.

Anne-Marie Thompson-Jacob, 47, and her fellow grandma began to argue at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday while waiting to pick up their grandson in Brooklyn, police said.

The debate came to a halt when Thompson-Jacob took a swing at the other woman and clocked her in the head, police said.

Thompson-Jacob, who serves in the NYPD as a School Safety Agent, was arrested in the 70th Precinct and charged with assault, said police.

The Daily News reported Thompson-Jacob hails from East New York.
