Man Named Merciful Fatally Stabs Victim In The Neck, Police Say
Merciful Johnson is accused of attacking Ean Bethea-Windsor outside the Breukelen Houses in East New York on Saturday, said police.
EAST NEW YORK — A man named Merciful fatally stabbed another man in the neck outside the Breukelen Houses, according to police.
Merciful Johnson, 31, attacked Ean Bethea-Windsor, 26, near East 108 Street and Flatlands Avenue around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
Bethea-Windsor was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but did not survive his injuries, according to police.

Johnson, of West Hempstead in Long Island, was arrested on Sunday around 3:30 p.m. and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Johnson was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child in Nassau County supreme court in 2010, court records show.
