NYPD ID Suspect In Fatal Brooklyn Double Shooting

BROWNSVILLE, NY — Police have identified the shooter who killed a man and injured another inside a Brooklyn restaurant on Sunday.

The suspect has been identified as Jesus Acosta, 31. He is accused of shooting a 44-year-old man in the head and a 39-year-old in the leg inside of American Best Wings & Pizza.

The 44-year-old was later pronounced dead at One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.

The other man is listed in stabled condition

The victim's identity has not been released yet.

Acosta is also tied to another incident in the Bronx where he is accused of shooting a 33-year-old man in the chest. The 33-year-old is recovering at a local hospital.
