Police Release Photo Of Man Wanted In East New York Double Shooting

Police released a photo of a man they want to question about the fatal shooting of Devon Hannibal and Christina Stubbs in June.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man they believe was involved in the fatal shooting of two people in a red Dodge Durango in June.

Police released a photo of a man in a gray t-shirt and blue shorts whom they identified as a “person of interest” in the fatal shooting of Christina Stubbs, 23, and Devon Hannibal, 27, on Friday, June 23.

Stubbs and Hannibal were shot dead in the front seats of a red Dodge Durango on Cleveland Street near Linden Boulevard around 4:45 a.m., police said.

Hannibal, of Brooklyn, was shot several times and Stubbs, of Pompano Beach, Fla., was killed by a single shot, police said.

Days after the shooting, Police released video footage of two suspects seen in the area before and after the shooting.
