Subway Mugger Robs Man On Van Siclen Station Steps, Police Say
Police are looking for the man who threw a straphanger against a wall and robbed him at the Van Siclen Avenue subway station.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for the man who mugged a straphanger in the Van Siclen Avenue station stairwell.
A 26-year-old man was walking up the steps to the 3 train station at Van Siclen and Livonia avenues around 12:45 p.m. on April 20 when his attacker crept up behind him, police said.
The thief slammed the man into the fence, pulled his wallet out of his pocket, grabbed his cash and fled, police said.

Police released photos of the suspect on Tuesday, whom they describe as a man in his early twenties who stands at five-foot-nine, weighs about 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a black du-rag, black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black shoes.
