Teen Attacked By Five Men On MTA Bus in East New York

The five men used a box cutter to slash the 14-year-old boy's head, arm and back.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for five men who used a box cutter to repeatedly slash a 14-year-old boy aboard an MTA bus in April.

The five men boarded an MTA bus near New Lots and Pennsylvania avenues around 8:30 p.m. on April 28, police said.

They ganged up on the 14-year-old, slashed him in the head, arm and back, stole his two cellphones and fled, according to police.

Emergency responders rushed the teenager — who was in serious condition — to Kings County Hospital, police said.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects approaching an MTA bus in broad daylight.
