Teen Who Shot 15-Year-Old In The Head Arrested, Police Say

BROWNSVILLE — The teenager who fatally shot a 15-year-old boy in the back of the head and shot an 18-year-old boy in the leg in broad daylight was arrested late Wednesday night, according to police.

Zidon Clarke, 17, shot Rohan Levy, 15, and the 18-year-old outside 92 East 55 St. around 2:35 p.m. on Feb. 20, said police.

Levy — who was shot just one block away from his home — was rushed to Kings County Hospital but later died from his injuries and the 18-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was treated and released, police said.

Clarke was arrested and charged with murder, assault, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm around 11 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The teen was captured after police released video of a suspect taken on East 55th Street the day of the shooting which showed a man getting into a tan-colored sedan, police said.

The investigation of the shooting remains ongoing, according to police.
