Tool Thief Keeps Robbing Brownsville Construction Site, Police Say

Police are hunting for a man who keeps stealing tools from a Rockaway Avenue construction site.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for a tool thief who keeps targeting the same building on Rockaway Avenue.

The suspect first robbed the construction site at 381 Rockaway Ave. around 11:15 p.m on April 25 and made off with a $125-construction tool, according to police.

Two days later, he climbed through a window of the same building around 3:40 a.m. and stole several tools worth about $200, police said.

Surveillance cameras caught footage of the suspect, whom police describe as a man with a medium build wearing a baseball cap, a dark coat, and jeans.
