Video: Armed Robber Lunges At Woman In East New York Front Yard, Police Say
The robber snuck up behind the woman and robbed her outside her own home on June 21 around 10 p.m., police said.
EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for the armed man caught on video lunging at a terrified woman and robbing her in her own front yard.
Surveillance footage released Thursday shows the thief sneaking up behind the 20-year-old woman moments after she walked through her home’s front gate in East New York on June 21 around 10 p.m., police said.
The woman backs toward the house when she sees the robber coming closer, then hands over her purse and cellphone.

Police are now searching for the unidentified man who can be seen, clad in an "Asphalt" t-shirt and a baseball cap, calmly taking the woman’s possessions and strolling away.
