Video Shows Murdered Brooklyn Man's Run For His Life

Police released disturbing video that shows Tyquan Eversley's unsuccessful attempt to escape his killers.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN -- Police released video Thursday that shows a man running for his life from of a group of 10 men who ultimately shoot him to death in a Brooklyn backyard.

Tyquan Eversley, 21, can be seen dashing through the streets of East New York, hopping a fence, getting stuck in barbed wire, then slugged with a large brick and shot, said police.

Video shows the moment when the chase ended, behind a house at 666 Elton St. at about 5:15 p.m., and one of Eversley's stalkers leapt onto a fence and shot him multiple times, according to police.

Medics rushed Eversley to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, police said.

Police have since arrested Michael Reed, 25, and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Nine other suspects, who include the gunman, had not been found as of Thursday afternoon, police said.

Police identified three suspects as Donaven McDay, 29, Shacore Huff, 24, and Alfred Crooks, 22.
