• New York launches 'Next Wave' plan for Buffalo Canalside growth (fingerlakes1.com) — Buffalo's waterfront is getting a fresh long-term plan, and you're being asked to help shape it. New York State has hired a planning firm to guide the next decade of Canalside and waterfront development, and residents can weigh in through an online survey and several public pop-up events in Buffalo starting Sept. 20.
