  1. The Buffalo Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Dodge Street with reports of serious injuries being sustained. The department is asking anyone with information related to the shooting to reach out to the department using the confidential tip-line. (WGRZ.com)
  2. The often-forgotten women of Buffalo's hip-hop scene are being highlighted during Ladies First. The showcase will feature local figures from the fringe of the city's hip-hop culture. The production hopes to open the scene to under-represented communities. (Spectrum News)
  3. A Buffalo man is facing multiple weapons charges after being arrested by the Buffalo Police Department. The department reportedly found five loaded weapons, three handguns, an AR-15 rifle, and one shotgun in the home of Michael Thomas, 45-years-old. Thomas' arrest was a joint effort between the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Erie County Sheriff's Office, and the ATF. (WGRZ.com)
