  1. Buffalo lawmakers are looking for mental health experts to serve on a new Community Police Advisory Committee. Members of the Common Council say these experts will help develop and propose better mental health policies for the Buffalo Police Department. Applications to serve on the new committee are due by Wednesday, Apr. 16. (WIVB.com - News 4)
  2. The University at Buffalo has received a $50,000 grant to study how pandemic policy and federal aid impacted the college experiences of low-income student-mothers. The project is funded by the Spencer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the support of education research.
