“I am beyond honored that members of the Television Academy chose SportsDesk to be nominated for an award,” said Cerullo. “I learned from working on this nominated project just how much effort and teamwork goes into putting on a live production. Every single person on our cast and crew had a role that came together to produce such an amazing piece, and we truly could not have done it without everyone's hard work.”
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Cerullo is a 2025 graduate of the University of Miami who majored in broadcast journalism. She currently works as a production assistant and graphics researcher at NBC's TODAY Show in New York City.
