  1. The first of its kind in Buffalo, Big Big Table is offering a new way to think about payment. "How it works is you come in, you order, and we ask - how would like to purchase your meal today," said Theresa Dempster, the kitchen manager of the community cafe. Big Big Table offers multiple ways of payment, including paying what you can, volunteering (such as washing dishes, cleaning tables, or even helping in the kitchen), or donations of other food products.   2. A 28-year-old man from Buffalo was shot on Sears Avenue Sunday morning and rushed to the hospital. A Buffalo Police spokesperson said the man was wounded on the first block of Sears Street just before 3:30 a.m. and was taken to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance.   3. Buffalo fire officials say nine people are being assisted by the American Red Cross following a fire on the second floor of an apartment on Elmwood Avenue, Sunday morning. Investigators say the fire started just after 7 a.m. at an apartment at Elmwood Avenue and West Delavan Avenue, above BikeOrBar. (WKBW-TV)
  4. The Buffalo Police Department said a 22-year-old man is dead after a shooting overnight. They said the man was driven to Buffalo General Hospital just after midnight, where he later died. Detectives are working to see if the shooting happened in the vicinity of West Utica and Elmwood Avenue. (WGRZ.com)
