Sigma Rehab & Centers Announce 1st Speech Therapist Winner of May

Ellicott Center's Speech Therapist Lindsey Farrell is Week One Winner During Speech & Hearing Month

With May being Better Speech and Hearing Month, Sigma Health Rehab and Centers Health Care is congratulating one speech therapist a week throughout their northeast network this month. Hands down, week one is going to Ellicott Center's Speech Therapist Lindsey Farrell, CCC SLP in Buffalo, New York.

Congratulations Lindsey

Ms. Farrell does amazing work throughout Western New York in their locations in Buffalo, as well as in Rochester, Canandaigua, Corning, and Bath in acute and long-term care. She has been an active member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has presented at their annual conference. Being an exceptional employee and very highly regarded in work ethics, Lindsey always works with other departments at the facilities during crunch periods, covers for her colleagues who may be out, and is always available for any questions and concerns from staff, families, and residents.

Hailing from Lancaster, New York, Lindsey received a Master's degree in May 2014 and a Bachelor's of Science degree in May 2012 in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY Fredonia. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as New York State licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology as of July 2015. Other professional affiliations include the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Western New York (SHAWNY), the International Cluttering Association (ICA), National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSHLA).
