COME AS YOU ARE. DANCE AS YOU FEEL. ROLL INTO SOMETHING FABULOUS!
We're turning up the love, the music & the disco drag spirit for TRANS FAMILY DISCO! ALL LOVE. ALL COLORS. ALL IDENTITIES. ONE BIG DISCO FAMILY!
Nov 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance - we honor our trans siblings & those lost to anti- transgender violence. This night is about offering care on the day after - bringing us all together in a room and offering connections to local non-profits for care onsite.
This event is in partnership with What Will I Become - a documentary about trans boys, mental health & imagining a way forward. Exploring universal themes on mental health, grief and masculinity - What Will I Become? asks what to do with our community's collective heartbreak and honor that trans people are always more than their deaths. The film is directed by Lexie Bean & Logan Rozos. Check out their website for resources and info https://www.wwibdoc.com/ & watch the trailer here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ni2OOrQ4VZQ&t=31s (Follow them on IG @whatwillibecome_doc/)
