• Canaan man indicted for 2025 fatal crash in Nassau (news10.com) — A 21-year-old Canaan resident has been indicted in Rensselaer County for a 2025 Route 20 crash in Nassau that killed an 80-year-old Chatham woman. Prosecutors say he was driving recklessly and crossed into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision. He now faces second-degree manslaughter and assault charges, with an assistant district attorney leading the case.
