• 'March to End Animal Testing' reaches Marshall BioResources (animals24-7.org) — Canastota briefly became a key stop on the 207‑mile March to End Animal Testing, drawing an estimated 400 people to an evening event in the rain on September 21. The march, which began in Albany and ends at Marshall BioResources in North Rose, is tied to a new federal bill seeking to end Health & Human Services funding for dog and cat experiments.
