• $3M revitalization project underway on Westbury Avenue in Carle Place (newsbreak.com) — Drivers and pedestrians in Carle Place should expect years of construction as a $3 million overhaul of Westbury Avenue gets underway between Jamaica Boulevard and Carle Road. The town–county project will repave the road, upgrade drainage, replace sidewalks, improve crossings, and add new trees and decorative brickwork, with completion targeted for 2027 while maintaining access to homes and businesses.
   

• High school sports roundup: Soccer, field hockey, girls volleyball and boys golf (newsday.com) — Carle Place boys soccer fans can celebrate a dominant 9-1 win over Wheatley, powered by four goals from Cristiano Costa to keep the Frogs undefeated at 11-0 in Nassau B. The roundup also highlights strong performances from several other Long Island high school teams in soccer, field hockey, volleyball, and golf.
