• Eight-time convicted felon sentenced to state prison (midhudsonnews.com) — A Mahopac man investigated by Carmel Police and county narcotics officers has been sentenced to seven years in state prison for cocaine possession after a months-long probe into drug sales from a Union Valley Road home. Prosecutors say the eight-time convicted felon was caught with cocaine and pill-processing equipment, and will face three years of post-release supervision after prison.
