CARROLL GARDENS/COBBLE HILL— Restaurants, bars and specialty food shops across Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill will serve up a neighborhood-wide tasting event Oct. 24.

Each ticket includes a set number of tastings.

Guests can use a map and menu to choose their stops, share tickets with others or plan their own food tour.

Proceeds benefit Seeds in the Middle, a nonprofit that works to reduce food insecurity and inequality. The organization supports school and community farm markets, cooking classes and edible gardens in New York City neighborhoods where residents have limited access to fresh food.

A four-taste ticket costs $40, but an early-bird discount brings the price down to $35 for tickets purchased by Friday.

A 12-taste ticket costs $115 and can be shared among a group.

A $20 raffle entry gives participants a chance to win fresh produce from New York farms or a gift certificate to a Brooklyn restaurant.

Organizers also offer a $40 ticket for anyone who wants to donate a tasting experience to someone in need.

Donors can email tastesofbk@seedsinthemiddle.org with a recipient's name or let organizers select someone to receive the ticket.

Tickets are available online and on the day of the event. Attendees can pick up tickets at a will-call table near Carroll Park, on the corner of President and Smith streets.
