CHILDREN FROM BROOKLYN LEFT NEW YORK CITY FOR FREE SUMMER EXPERIENCES THROUGH THE FRESH AIR FUND

New York, NY – June 29, 2015 marked the beginning of Fresh Air summer experiences for thousands of New York City children, including many Brooklyn residents. The excited youngsters left Port Authority Bus Terminal to visit volunteer host families and enjoy one or two weeks of simple summertime joys such as skipping rocks across a lake, running barefoot through the grass, roasting marshmallows, and making new friends.
There is still time to register your child for a Fresh Air summer experience! The Fresh Air Fund will be holding free registration for parents Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at their New York City office, located on 633 Third Ave, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
