WNYC’s in-depth radio documentary “Back of the Bus” explored issues of race and inequality through the lens of the nation’s public transit systems.  More than half a century after Rosa Parks and the integration of Alabama’s bus system, transportation policies still discriminate against people of color and people with low income. Andrea Bernstein brings together a panel of expert historians and social activists to discuss America’s mass transit racial divide.
