Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Seminar

Downstate LICH believes each person’s medical care should be a personal choice.  The Bloodless Medicine and Surgery program is specially designed to meet the healthcare needs of members of the community who wish to receive transfusion-free alternatives.

“All our physicians who participate in the Bloodless program are fully trained and experienced in the procedures and techniques for patients requesting medical or surgical care without blood transfusions,” says Michael Lucchesi, MD, Chief Medical Officer for the Downstate Hospitals.  A panel of Downstate LICH physicians will present and answer questions.
