Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. is now accepting applications for the Free Computer Training Classes. The Computer Training is a beginner’s class on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Upon successful completion of the 6-week program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Microsoft Office. Classes are taught by Mr. Pablo Sierra, an instructor with more than 14 year experience teaching the topic professionally. The training program is offered at the CGA Training Center, located at 201 Columbia Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231, with sessions held from 5:30 – 7:30 every Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Due to limited space, registration is offered on a first come-first served basis. Please note that the above classes are strictly for Beginners. Preference is given to special population groups that include low-income individuals, the unemployed, persons with disabilities, veterans, immigrants, minorities, the youth (18 – 24 years), active seniors (65 -74 years) and residents from the neighborhoods of Red Hook, the Columbia Street Waterfront District, Carroll Gardens, Gowanus, and Sunset Park.
