Measurement and Garment Resizing Workshop

Learn to get a custom fit in the off-the-rack world of  sweater patterns .  A hands-on workshop to learn how to alter patterns to achieve a better fit and to learn how to adjust a pattern's gauge.   We will take detailed body measurements, work on adjusting a basic sweater pattern to our own body measurements.  There will be an in depth discussion of gauge and fit and how they relate to adjusting your pattern.

Students must feel comfortable reading a pattern and understanding basic pattern and knitting terminology.

Students should bring pencils and a tape measure to class and come ready to think.   Some basic math skills are needed - bring a calculator if you'll be more comfortable using one.

Cost:  $50.00

Registration:  Advanced payment is required to reserve your place in the class.  You can register in person at the shop or by calling 718.963.0369.
