French and Chinese Book Fair and Winter Festival this Sunday

Stop by between 12-5 pm and pick up some new books, make a holiday craft, meet the Snow Queen and have fun at Dave Engel's Pirate School!

Science, Language & Arts International School (SLA) will hold its third annual French and Chinese Book Fair and Winter Festival on Sunday, December 7 from 12:00 - 5:00 pm at the Brooklyn Music School (126 St. Felix Street, Brooklyn).

The SLA French & Chinese Book Fair feature a large selection of children’s French books from L’Ecole des Loisirs, Gallimard, Lutin Poche, Nathan, Hachette, Milan, Seuil, Hatier, and Bayard and many others. The assortment of books targets children from 0-10 years old and features chapter books, magazine subscriptions, science-themed books French reference books, audio books and DVDs as well.

There will be lots of tasty treats to try at our bake sale and fun children activities to take part in - holiday crafts, cookie decorating, a chance to meet the Snow Queen, and try your luck at the Stocking Walk! Then, at 3:00 pm, join us and enjoy the David Engel’s Pirate School! - a madcap, swashbuckling comedy variety show for the whole family.
