The Pareidolia Project comes to Red Hook this weekend

The Pareidolia Project: If you see something, SEE something (seriously kid-friendly) This weekend, Oct 18-19.

Brooklyn, NY: See it? Join us at the premier exhibit of local artist Megan Karlen’s ambitious new project that will have you looking at the world with fresh eyes. Pareidolia is the phenomenon of seeing recognizable images in random shapes and patterns. The Pareidolia Project propels this phenomenon into a high gear experience. Karlen takes us with her on a daily, non-stop journey seeing images in the otherwise, stepped on, wiped out, spilled or simply passed by item. Capturing digital images with her phone, Karlen later prints them on aluminum, underscoring the grittier aspect of the project.

What is Pareidolia?
