Fisherman’s Dawta

Fisherman’s Dawta created a buzz this past week when it opened in Boerum Hill. According to the NYTimes, Jennefier Ewers, former owner of the now-closed Brawta, came out of her Jamaican retirement to open up her newest Caribbean restaurant. Fans took to Twitter to laud the new spot that dishes up authentic Jerk Chicken while playing Bob Marley tunes, creating a relaxed and tropical atmosphere.

Dassara Brooklyn Ramen (OPEN?!) — maybe? 

After a  and teaser pictures on Facebook displaying scrumptious White Clam Mazeman,  is slated to officially open this week!

Court Street Grocers

According to Eaterwill have a special chef-guest appearance from Shorty Tang & Sons on August 18. Book now for your place at the table, so as not to miss the $45 seven course prix fixe. 

Gowanus Yacht Club

Gowanus Yacht Club reminded patrons via Facebook that there is another Shipwrecked party on August 8th. The monthly party for lesbian singles to congregate and mingle is “bringing the fun back to hump day.”

Bedouin Tent Restaurant

 got a shout-out on Eater for its delectable yet budget-friendly lambajin. Other good eats from the Middle Eastern hot spot are the Shrimp Pitza and Babaghanouj.
