The Daily Muse

It's funny how certain things catch my eye.  Places, buildings, structures, walls, corners etc. that are part of my everyday awareness, things that might be considered mundane, often become the subject of my photographic pontification.

The muse comes in different forms.  A bridge is a form that I'm drawn to.  I photograph bridges often; in different cities, in my travels and right here at home...and NYC has so many good ones!

The bridge that spans the BQE and Hicks St. at Summit St. in Carroll Gardens is a few blocks from my home.  I don't know why it subtley tickles me.   While passing over it last night,  I realized I had my Canon G11 in my bag and did a sorta night study on it.  In unison with St. Stephen's Church, the shots have a Victorian-England feel.

Any thoughts on the muse in form?
