Spend the afternoon exploring the magic of color theory and hand dyeing with Heather Love of Hellomello Handspun. This workshop offers a wonderful introduction to acid dyeing for knitting, crochet and spinning. Students will learn many of the most commonly used dyeing techniques including immersion dyeing, "dip" dyeing, hand painting, space dyeing, "cold" dyeing and how to create "tie-dye" resists. The cost of the class is $60, all materials are included. Reserve your seat by Wednesday, June 24th. Heather will be bringing her beautiful handspun and limited-edition locavore yarns, samples of some of her own knitting patterns and copies of her new sewing book so be sure to sign up asap!
