The Center Moriches School District has completed a series of facility upgrades and maintenance projects throughout the school year aimed at enhancing learning spaces, improving safety, and maintaining school buildings for students and staff. By utilizing in-house expertise for many of the improvements, the District reduced costs and ensured a timely and efficient project completion.
District maintenance and facilities teams completed several smaller-scale improvements across school buildings, totaling $7,150. These projects included:
In addition, the District partnered with external contractors to complete several larger capital and infrastructure projects totaling $1,571,000. These projects included:
“One of our highest priorities as a District is to provide safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environments where our students and staff can thrive,” said Dr. Ricardo Soto, Superintendent of Schools. “These ongoing improvements reflect our commitment to not only preserving our facilities, but ensuring they continue to support a positive and productive educational experience for our entire school community.”
