• The Rotary's 18th annual Oktoberfest is this month (longislandadvance.net) — Center Moriches residents can look forward to the Moriches Rotary's 18th annual Oktoberfest at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck from Sept. 25 to 27, with detailed hours and pricing set. The family-friendly fundraiser features German beer, live music, dancers, vendors, and carnival rides, with proceeds supporting special-needs programs at the long-running local camp.
