Truck Crashes Into Eastport Michelangelo's Pizzeria

EASTPORT, NY — A truck crashed into the Michelangelo's located in the King Kullen shopping plaza in Eastport Wednesday, police said said.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to the crash, which took place at 11:50 a.m. A man operating a Hino utility truck struck a sign at Michelangelo Pizzeria, located at 11 Eastport-Manor Road, police said. A sign was damaged and there were no injuries, police said.

Staff reported that the truck hit the building, but it was business as usual Wednesday afternoon.
