Center Moriches/Eastport Area July 4 Fireworks: 2019 Guide

CENTER MORICHES-EASTPORT — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening near Center Moriches and Eastport so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th near Center Moriches and Eastport:

North Sea Fire Department Carnival
-Fireman's Field, 149 Noyac Road in North Sea
- Through Saturday, July 6 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The event includes a dazzling fireworks display on Friday, July 5 at 10 p.m. Bracelet nights are July 4 and 6th. For additional information, call 631-283-3629.

Southampton Fresh Air Home's 32nd Annual American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci
- 1030 Meadow Lane
- Friday, July 5 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- The event takes place at 1030 Meadow Lane, but the spectacular fireworks over Shinnecock Bay can be seen from other spots in the area. Festivities include games for kids, stilt walkers, magicians, an American picnic, food carts with ice cream,and hot dogs.
The Southampton Fresh Air Home is a residential camp with a specialized recreation program adapted for physically challenged children, the majority of whom will receive scholarships to attend. Southampton Village July 4 Parade

- The parade leaves from Railroad Plaza and continues down North Main, Main Street, Jobs Lane.
- Thursday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Westhampton Country Club
- A private event held at the Westhampton Country Club on Potunk Lane, but the whole community enjoys the spectacular display of Grucci dazzlers each year, lining up on the streets to watch.
- This year, the fireworks will take place on July 4 when the sun goes down. The event has been enjoyed for generations, and is a beloved Westhampton Beach tradition. A rain date is scheduled for July 5.

"Stars Over Montauk"
- Umbrella Beach, Montauk
- July 4, 8 p.m.
Sponsored by Montauk Chamber of Commerce, the fireworks display takes place at Umbrella Beach, 1/3 mile west of town, best viewed from any town beach or location in town. Donations are accepted to help support the fireworks display.

Shelter Island Fireworks
- Crescent Beach, 35 Shore Road
- Saturday, July 13 9 p.m.

Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett
- Abrahams Landing Rd, Amagansett
- This year's fireworks show takes place on Saturday, July 6.

"The Great Bonac Fireworks Show"
- Three Mile Harbor, East Hampton
- Saturday, July 13, 9:30 p.m.
A beloved East Hampton tradition, the 39th annual fireworks celebration, "The Great Bonac Fireworks Show," hosted by The Clamshell Foundation & Grucci, is also followed by the 28th Sandcastle Contest on August 10 at Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett. The contest is open to all ages and runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
"With financial help from many kind donors, The Clamshell Foundation fosters programs and projects on the East End of Long Island. 100% of the Foundation's profits are disbursed throughout our community with educational and charitable grants. The Clamshell Foundation sponsored a $5,000 college scholarship to an outstanding East Hampton High School senior and we are dedicated to our mission of donating food and funds to those in need," the organization said.
