2. A little girl, 6, who police said was run over by a relative's Jeep while sledding at a recreational facility in Southampton Sunday, is expected to make a full recovery, Southampton Town Supervisor Jay Schneiderman said. Schneiderman said Tuesday that the child sustained no life-threatening injuries, is in "good spirits," and is expected to recover fully. (Patch)
3. Riverhead Local announced that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available at a clinic in the Riverhead Free Library on Feb. 23 from 1-5 p.m. for people aged 5 and over. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced the clinic today as one of several across the county to help boost the rate of vaccination for children and booster shots for adults throughout the month of February.
