Center Moriches Fire Department Heroes Honored

CENTER MORICHES, NY — Heroes were lauded for their service recently: Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine honored Center Moriches Fire Department members at an annual awards dinner held on Saturday.

During the event, held at the Bellport Country Club, Romaine spotlighted department award recipients, including incoming and outgoing officers; honors included length of service awards, high point awards, and more.

Each fire department member was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the supervisor for their "life-saving efforts in service to the community," he said.
