Center Moriches High School Student Recognized In Statewide Competition
Dedication Shows District Success

Center Moriches School District is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of junior Nyliah White, who earned third place in the Basic Health Care Skills competition at the SkillsUSA New York State Competition.
Competing against some of the most talented career and technical education students across New York State, Nyliah demonstrated exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and technical skill in a rigorous, high-pressure environment judged by active industry professionals. Her success reflects the dedication, preparation, and hard work she invested throughout the competition season.
“We are incredibly proud of Nyliah for this remarkable accomplishment,” said Dr. Ricardo Soto, Superintendent of Schools. “Earning recognition at the state level is testament to her hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence. This achievement reflects Nyliah’s talent and perseverance, as well as the strength of the career and technical education opportunities that help prepare our students for future success.”
