Father And 3 Sons Rescued After Scare In LI Trails: PD
The family became lost without cell phone service in Manorville County Park.

MANORVILLE, NY — A father and his sons who became lost while biking in Manorville Hills County Park on Sunday night have been found safe, Suffolk County Police said.
The West Babylon family, which included a 41-year-old man and his 13, 10, and 8-year-old sons, left their car at the entrance of the park and took bicycles onto a trail at about 6:30 p.m., police said.
Just before 8 p.m., the family tried returning to their car using GPS on a cell phone, but could not get a connection, police said. Officers later received a 911 call from the man at 9:16 p.m., stating that he was lost. The man's cell phone battery then died, police said.

Officers then searched the park with the assistance of the Suffolk County Police Aviation Section and Suffolk County Park Police. Seventh Precinct Officers Brian Koch and Marisa Bruno, who were searching the trails, located the family at 10:18 p.m., police said.
The family was not injured and was back to their vehicle, police said.
