Missing Center Moriches Teen Found Unharmed: Police

CENTER MORICHES, NY — Police said Monday that a Center Moriches teen reported missing early Monday was found safe and unharmed.

According to Suffolk County police, Cynthia Reyes-Cardenas, 16, was last seen leaving her residence, located on Surrey Drive, at about 12:10 a.m. She was reported missing by family at 1:23 a.m., police said.

Reyes-Cardenas was in contact with Riverhead Town police at about 8 a.m. Monday morning via telephone and indicated she was possibly in the Mastic area, police said.
