Search On For Missing East Moriches Woman With Dementia
Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help to find Irene Mazzeo.
EAST MORICHES, NY — The search is on for an East Moriches woman who has dementia.
The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for Irene Mazzeo, 62, who was last seen at her residence at 6 Thoroughbred Court on Wednesday at 8 a.m.
Mazzeo is white, 5-feet, 4-inches tall and 150 lbs., with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a beige sweater, jeans and black shoes, police said.

Mazzeo does not have a cell phone or a vehicle and regularly walks around the neighborhood on foot, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Mazzeo’s location to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or to call 911.
