Woman Arrested After LI Massage Parlor Raid: Police

EAST MORICHES, NY — A woman was arrested during a massage parlor raid in East Moriches Friday, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, the raid took place at the S & A Spa on Montauk Highway after community complaints.

Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers, along with the Brookhaven Town law department, fire marshal, and building inspector conducted an investigation into reported illegal activities at the spa, located at 94 Montauk Highway, Suite C, at 4:06 p.m., police said.

Jadi Bi, 47, of Rego Park, was charged with one count of unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, under the New York State education law, and one count of prostitution, a misdemeanor, under the New York State penal law, police said.

Bi is scheduled to be arraigned on August 18 at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.

Brookhaven Town is continuing the investigation, police said.
