Dog Lost In Central Park Reunited With Family, Police Say

A shaggy white dog that was lost in Central Park Monday has been claimed.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — Here's some good news coming from the police. A lost dog taken in by the Central Park police precinct on Monday has been reunited with its family, the precinct announced Tuesday on social media.

The lost dog was claimed by its rightful owner Tuesday after being found wandering alone on the north side of Central Park.

The shaggy white dog was found sometime around 7:45 inside Central Park near West 110th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, police said. The area is near the northwest entrance to the park in Central Harlem.

Police did not say how the dog got separated from its owner in the first place.
