Man Found Hanging From Central Park Tree, Police Say
A man in his 30s was found dead Monday morning in Central Park, police said.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — A man's body was found hanging from a tree in Central Park Monday morning, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The man, who has not been identified but is believed to be in his 30s, was found inside the park near East 106th Street and Fifth Avenue with an article of clothing tied from his neck to a tree, an NYPD spokesman said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics around 9:45 a.m., police told Patch.

No criminality is suspected in the death, which is currently being treated as a suicide, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
