Man Suffers Gunshot Wound Near Central Park Ice Rink, Taken To Hospital In Critical Condition
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, which may have been self-inflicted, an NYPD spokesman said.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — A man shot Tuesday night in Central Park has been transported to the hospital in critical condition, an NYPD spokesman said.
The man — who has not been identified — suffered a gunshot wound to the chest around 8 p.m. near the ice rink on 106th Street, an NYPD spokesman said. The gunshot wound could have been self-inflicted, NYPD Chief of Detectives Roberty Boyce told reporters Tuesday.
The wounded man was transported to St. Luke's hospital in critical but stable condition, an NYPD spokesman said.
